After getting called out on corruption the gaming press did not respond with apologies or promises of improvement but instead declared its own target audience as dead, evil, misogynistic and so on. What is especially notable is the obvious combined effort behind these articles as all of them were published withing 48 hours, some even with only an hour difference.

Here you can find archived versions of those articles, the original site will gain no views from using these archived versions so feel free to view them however much you want.

The better articles among these condemn only the terminology of the word "gamer", the majority of these articles however features a lot of sexism, racism, occasional communism, immense stereotyping and the tendency to completely avoid the topic of corruption and instead focus on the (perhaps faked) harassment of Anita Sarkeesian. Note that Anita Sarkeesian was completely unrelated to #GamerGate until journalists and SJWs decided to use her as a shield against any claim corruption.
